It Is All In You

Hello! This is me, Anushka Tasgaonkar! I am currently in tenth grade and aspire to become a journalist in the future. My teachers have always told my parents that I have the ability to write exceptionally well,(I'm not trying to boast about myself!!) but what bugged me every time was that my teachers are mostly like minded people so they like it,but what about the others?What about the common public? The common students? Confused teenagers like me? What about them? Would they like my writings? Would they appreciate it?And then I was enlightened by my mother who suggested that I should start writing Blogs! According to her this is the simplest way to get connected with the people outside! This is how I can get to know people and what they think and then again they get to understand what I think and what my opinions are! When she said this I was completely interested in this thought but then I was also worried what others would say if they do not like my Blog! I didn't know what my friends would say! And all those series of questions regarding the worst started coming up in my mind! Even though my heart was completely in support of this idea my brain was completely against it and in the end my brain won the battle.( I always go by my heart! And here I am actually writing this Blog!) So anyways I jumped over the thought but the dream of me as a journalist,of me proving it to everyone that who I am, making a name out there and all these cogitations didn't let me sleep.

Now the idea of the Blog didn't allow me to grab some sleep. This was an indication that Blog writing is for me. I gave it a thought and how does it matter what people think!(Well, actually it matters a lot to me!!) I will do what I feel is good for me! What I know will take me up, will let me climb the Everest of my life,my career! And finally here I am with my brain again defeated by my heart writing this Blog while drinking a hot cup of coffee! This is for all the teens out there who are confused just like me about what they should do! Well here is the simplest piece of advice that I can give, stop worrying what others will say or think about you. Stop caring about the perceptions that they make about you! Don't worry about your peers because if they are not happy in your happiness then they are your fake friends who just caress your smile and just say sorry for show. Step out of the box and live life your way! We're young. We have the fire in us. We are the future. We have it in us. All we need to do is start believing in ourselves than sympathizing and finding excuses for ourselves. Let's start making improvements instead of making excuses. Keep your hopes high and believe in yourself! It is all in you, all you have to do is look for it! Next time I'll be back with some other words of wisdom and motivation but till then keep working hard!
